Published Dec 22, 2014Following a reunion 7-inch in 2013 and a show overseas in the summer, Toronto hardcore act No Warning have announced their first show on North American soil in 10 years. The gig takes place next spring in New Jersey.
A press release confirms that Ben Cook (Fucked Up, Young Guv, Yacht Club) and the rest of the band will be playing April 10 at Gamechangerworld in Howell, NJ. The full lineup details have yet to be unleashed, but No Warning will be taking top billing.
"The state of the world and our system of life is as ugly as ever and it is time to express our disgust in the one way we know how," the group said in a statement. "It's been a strange journey for our band but we feel very blessed that people still get down with our music. Come April 2015 on the Jersey shore we will share that appreciation. The full line up with some new and old friends will be announced a little later. It will not disappoint. Still ill."
It's noted in the press release that this is No Warning's first show on the continent since their "unexpected last show in Quebec City" back in 2005. In August, the band played Ieperfest in Belgium.
No Warning delivered their "Resurrection of the Wolf" single in late 2013, while a vinyl repress of their divisive 2004 Suffer, Survive LP was issued earlier this year.
UPDATE: A second show will now take place on April 11 at GameChangerWorld in Howell, NJ.
