Jack White Pens Moving Tribute to Late Surf Hero Dick Dale
The music world lost a true legend this weekend, as surf guitar hero Dick Dale passed away at the age of 81. And while countless artists have been paying their respects, Jack White has now penned a touching tribute to the late musician.

"I spent many moments learning his massive reverbed guitar licks in my bedroom, and still enjoy playing his song 'Nitro' whenever I can," White wrote. "I can remember traveling up to Pontiac from Detroit by myself to watch him play when I was sixteen. That upside down gold sparkle Fender of his needs to be hung up some place special."

As previously reported, Dale passed away on Saturday night (March 16).
